Measure the neck your puppy has today

Use a soft measuring tape around the base of the neck where the collar normally sits. Keep it level and snug enough to follow the neck without compressing it. Allow room for two fingers, then record the measurement in inches. Do not estimate from breed, age or expected adult size. Use the size chart and pre-order checklist to compare adjustment ranges.

Choose room to adjust, not room to slip

Select a range that places the current measurement comfortably between its minimum and maximum. Starting near the smallest setting can leave growth room only if the collar remains secure today. An oversized loose collar is not a growth strategy.
